Sound and image generated together from one point in a ~500-gene space, and steered by you. The picture is a reaction-diffusion simulation (like the one up top) that listens: it breathes with loudness, flashes on every hit and grows new patterns on onsets.

The shared engine in Rust: 23 sound generators (FM, Lorenz chaos, logistic map, Shepard tone, tanpura, singing bowlโฆ), an FX chain, LFOs, the GrayโScott picture and the directed search. Deterministic, no I/O, one source of truth for every app.
Web app
Runs in the browser: Web Audio worklets, WebGL picture, a "scout" that pre-renders candidates and picks the most fractal-sounding one. Save and share any point with a short link.
โAndroid app
Keeps playing with the screen off. Steer the search from the notification and lock screen; the picture runs on OpenGL ES and you can paint into it with a finger.
โTerminal app
For machines where the browser can't keep up: the sound in full, the picture in half-block characters.
