Synesthesia

One point in a big parameter space makes both the sound and the picture. You steer the search:

• 👍 More of this — keep going in this direction (smaller steps).
• 👎 Not this — go back to the last thing you liked and try another direction (bigger steps).
• 🎲 Surprise — jump near a random built-in preset.
• ↩ Undo — revert the last change (up to 5).
• 💾 Save keeps the point in this browser — saved points sit at the top of the list, and 🗑 removes the selected one. 🔗 Share copies a short link. The current point also survives a page reload.
• ⚙ Settings — for the curious: every parameter of the point, sound and picture. Sound changes are heard at once; the picture pauses and shows your changes when you close the settings. Closing counts as one step (↩ Undo takes it back).

Sound and image share the same slow LFOs, and the picture listens: it breathes with loudness swells, flashes and sprouts new growth (with a ripple) on every hit, and bass / mid / treble tint its dark / mid / light tones. Press ▶ Sound to start audio (browsers need a click for that).

Touch or drag the picture and it answers the same way it answers the music — new growth under your finger and a ripple spreading out from it.
